ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Yurema Villa and I´m a freelance makeup artist and hairstylist in the fashion and advertising industry. I have extensive experience in all areas of makeup. In fact, I began my career in TV and film. After five years in London, I decided to focus  on fashion and advertising.

I´m a creative person, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of skin tones and textures. Passionate about makeup and cosmetics, I love enhancing beauty by creating looks that are aligned with the latest trends. The projects that have excited me the most have been those I’ve undertaken with renowned cosmetic brands, such as Guerlain and 3ina, where I have worked on numerous beauty editorials and campaigns.

One of the most enriching experiences of my career has been being part of the creative teams at Milan Fashion Week, as well as in Dubai where I collaborated with local designers and Vogue Arabia. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to work with major national and international magazines, such as Vogue Spain, Smoda, Telva, Glamour Spain, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Icon, Huger, L’Officiel, Número, Noisé, Carnale Room, among others.

Additionally, throughout my career, I have conducted shoots, campaigns, and e-commerce for various fashion brands, including Arket, Oysho, Purificación García, Carolina Herrera, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Benetton, Uniqlo, Sfera, El Corte Inglés, Tintoretto, Bershka, Brownie, Mango, and many more.

Now I’m based in Barcelona but still work nationally and internationally.
